The Silk Scarf

The setting:It took place in Johannesburg South Africa at the Oriental Plaza which is a shopping centre .

The main character:Mrs Nebo.She was of medium height and had a smooth skin.She was slight with a lovely smile and teeth.She was wealthy and was the wife of an important official of the African front.She also had a great taste of fashion.

The plot:This story is about a wealthy woman who was the wife of an important official.She lived in a white suburb and had escorts.One day she went with her friend and two escorts to a shopping centre which was owned by Indians.She bought a lovely dress as she window shopped.So she wanted to buy a silk scarf that would match her new dress.She finally found a silk scarf  in a boutique and wanted to purchase it but did not have enough cash in her hand bag so she decided to pay by cheque.The owner of the shop Mr Sakur refused the cheque and demanded for cash only.Mrs Nebo was offended  and felt humiliated.The was a dispute in the boutique and other shop owners rushed to the boutique to see what the problem was.They all insisted on  the boutique owner to accept the cheque but he refused.She left the boutique and said people like Mr Sakur do not deserve to be permitted to be in the Plaza in the end Mr Sadur a shop owner bought the scarf cash and gave it to Mrs Nebo and was very happy.
